Rules

Are You Eligible?

The Huggies® MomInspired™ Grant Program accepts grant proposals for thoroughly considered product ideas and small businesses that nurture the relationship between mother and child. Eligible applicants are 21 years of age or older and currently reside in the United States. Applicants with business partners are welcome to submit grant proposals as long as those business partners meet the above criteria as well.  Former Huggies® MomInspired™ grant recipients are eligible if they submit a separate product idea. Former applicants to the Huggies® MomInspired™ Grant Program are also eligible to re-submit a new application (for the same or new product idea) based on the judging criteria below.

Judging Criteria for Winning Ideas

Huggies® will award grants for ideas and existing small businesses that are original and designed to help make life easier for parents so that they can better enjoy everyday moments with their little ones. It's important to note that although Huggies® does not specifically seek ideas that are diaper or hygiene-related, applications should be focused on products for pre-natal care through the early childhood years up to 6 years of age. Grant applications will be judged by a panel of independent and Kimberly-Clark employee judges based on the following criteria:

  • Originality and creativity (counts toward 50% of the judging process)
  • Relevancy to the grant theme - solves an important parenting issue (counts toward 25% of the judging process)
  • Potential commercial viability (counts toward 15% of the judging process)
  • Stage of idea/business development (counts toward 10% of the judging process)
  • Whether the applicant adheres to the Eligibility Rules stated above
